-kamikaze-: a little bit about system software

have u guys heard about system software..? it is common right..

but i wonder if everyone ever notice about it..even i don't really know about it myself..

what is the function..what it is used for..and so on..it is prohibited

to learn about it as we are in the 'technology environment'..ecehceh..(8.8)

it is so simple..! system software is a software that handle the majority of the technical details.

thus, it is not a single software..you guys got it..?

i'm interested in mentioning about 4 types regarding this software. however,

only the no 1 is far more important

oPeRaTiNg SyStEm

~ system that handle technical details related to using a computer.That

is why your computer is useless without this thing

~ there are about 3 main functions::::

managing resources <coordinates memory, processing, storage, printers, monitors>
providing user interface < before, only used ''Copy A: assign.doc C:'' but now, used GUI>
running applications < load and run applications like word processors and spreadsheet.Also support multitasking>

in order to restart a computer, we have to boot the system. 2 ways in doing it.

(1) warm boot- computer is on and restart it without turning it off

(2) cold boot- restart a computer that is off before
