i thought i want to talk 

about other phase

but i believe that

i'm not that hardworking

so, i just want to advice you guys

to read the textbook by yourself..

in fact,

the other groupmates have talk about it..

so, just follow their blog too

for now, 

i just want to talk about tools that we 

can use in analysis phase (PHASE2)

1st of all,

i just want to tell that all of this info

are from Computing Essentials Complete 2011

tools that we can use are:

checklists ( a list of questions through key issues in the system)

top-down analysis method (identify from the top and break it down to small components)

grid charts ( relationship about input & output)

decision tables ( a check mark at the intersection in both output & input) 

system flowcharts ( flow from input until output)

data flow diagrams ( data flow within the information system)

automated design tools

i guess that is what i want to talk for now..

though i'm not explaining it in detail,

i believe everyone knows about it..

don't lie..!

because we keep using those tools

normally to make any report

or finishing any assignments..

• System is a collection of activities and elements organized to accomplish goals.
•     Design is an activity that translates an idea into a blueprint, drawings, sketches, service, process and etc.

 

·        In an information system, system design consists of  Designing alternatives system, selecting the best system and writing a system design report.

The design task is basically the activities which delivers to information system design procedures and step taken to develop a design. such as in project.

what your 1st thinking when you've heard

about investigation?

i know..

it's something like this right

even i think it that way

proceeding from the last entry,

today i want to talk about phase1

that is 

PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION

normally, we use this whenever

we want something done that presently not being done

eg: to finish my study in utm

for me,

to finish this study,

of course i need to know my problem in finishing it

then, 

i need to take alternative ways to correct it

afterward, 

i must make my psm report which shows that 

i'm completing this study..

so, that is for my example..

according to Computing Essentials Complete 2011

written by O'Leary, T.J. & L.I

this phase focus on 3 tasks

+ define the problem

+ suggesting solutions

+ prepare a short report

this is the example:

defining the problem: is where

we face problems in combining all the information altogether

i know it is difficult!

suggesting solutions: is where

we can start hiring more secretaries

to collect all info from employees

preparing short report: is where 

summarizing the results from the 1st & 2nd tasks

so, that's all for now..

actually, i don't really know how many types of it..

as  i'm only referring  to the textbook..

data administrator ialah seorang yang tahu how to handle and

mengurus all data in organization. can you imagine how 

focus orang ini? it can't be me lah...hehehe...so when you 

nampak orang ini sedang kerja, don't ever-ever go and kacau

him. if not, tapak kasut will melekat at your face.

this kind of person must know the latest software or anything 

that relate with computer especially about data 

arrangement. someone who from finance can apply this job because

they handle data before. so it's quite easy for them to get along

with this job.

hai guys...i'm kk...(forgive me on my grammatic error)

just now i learn 'bout database...it is quite interesting topic...we learn where our data are provided and how it can travel from 1 place to another.

but now, i want to focus on hierarchy database. 

this type of database consist of parent and child.

notice that, child only allowed to have one parent compare to parents which can have many child.

for a moment, i link it to our real life. commonly every child have one parents. so it easy to make me remember about this kind of parent-child thing that occur in technology case.

 

 for me, this type of database are more composed. we can see the fluency of data move from top to bottom.
