arghhh!!
i need help
why is it i'm suffering this thing?
am i relying too much
on the computer?
is computer is really my
bestfriend all the time?
so, this is what my roomates
said to me.....
do you ever remember what
we've learnt in the class?
about the ergonomics thing..
i ran to my own textbook and search about it..
owh!!
ergonomics is a study of human factors related
to things people use.
might be i'm suffering headache because
i kept using my own computer
but didn't care about my health
according to the book of Computing Essentials Complete 2011,
there are 3 risks that related to our computer
you guys need to read this ok!
this is a serious thing to discuss
the 3 things are:
- physical health
- mental health
- design of the product
PHYSICAL HEALTH
^ gaining eyestrain and headache: result from which
we keeps looking our computer for a longer period
- so: need to take 15mins break for every 1/2 hours
- try make sure the screen is 4 times brighter than room light
^ gaining back and neck pain: result from we work not in a
proper position
- so: make sure the equipments are adjustable
- chair need to have back support
eg: carpal tunnel syndromes
( happens to those who are heavy computer user
for which the tendons and nerves of their hands are damages
- so: try massage your hand and take some 'hand rest'
- also, try using ergonomic keyboard
i will contnue on the next entry
because i need to find something
regarding mental health..
